  The inaugural Photonics Korea, held September 2- 5, 2003, at the COEX Indian Hall & Grand Ballroom, set the stage for the success of all subsequent editions of the trade show. The event elicited a strong response from around the world as 62 companies from 10 countries including Japan, U.S., Taiwan, Germany, Canada, U.K., Sweden, China, Korea, etc. showcased their products and technologies to more than 10,625 visitors.
