Shell Stand
|

The Shell stand scheme provided by the organizer
comprises side & real walls, ceiling,
carpeting & fascia board inscribed with the exhibitor's
name and stand number and
including free furnish of an information desk and a chair, spot
lights(100wX4ea) and fluorescent lamp (40wX1ea).
|
Additional stand fitting or display and electrical installation,
electricity and other
services
are not included but may be served at the exhibitor 's expense. |
|
Electricity, Telephone and Visitor Reception System
|

Connection for electricity, telephone, and visitors
reception system can be constructed by the organizer from an
underground service duct to a booth or exhibits.
Application for the above items should be submitted to the Photonics
Korea 2003 secretariat along with the detailed description by
June 20, 2003.
These charges should be paid with reference to KAPID by bank
transfer, not later than June 30, 2003.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITING |
In these terms and conditions for exhibiting, the term "Exhibitor"
shall include all employees, partnership, firm or individual
to whom space has been allocated for the purpose of exhibiting.
The term "Organizer" shall mean "Korea Association
for photonics Industry Development" including "Photonics
Korea 2004 Secretariat or Management".
The term "Exhibition" shall mean "International
Photonics Exhibition 2004" including "Photonics Korea
2004". |

ALLOCATION
OF EXHIBIT SPACE |
 |
The Organizer shall allocate the space in accordance with the
nature of the exhibit or in the manner the Organizer deems fit.
The Organizer shall reserve the right to change the space allocated
to the Exhibitor at any time prior to the commencement of the
build-up of the exhibition should the circumstances require
changes. Such changes shall be at the discreation of the Organizer.
The Exhibitor shall not claim for compensation as a result of
the changes. |

APPLICATION AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES |
|
|
Application should be sent to Photonics Korea 2004 Secretariat
along with a transfer slip (check or copy of a bank) paying
for the initial 50% of the participation fee and/or shell cost.
The contract shall be estabilished and be put into effect upon
the Exhibitor's payment of 50% of the participation fee and/or
shell cost. Exhibitors will be informed about the space assignments
shortly after the receipt deadline. The balance should be paid
by not later than June, 30, 2004. |
In the case of cancellation after submitting an application
the following cancellation fee must be paid within 15 days of
notification of cancellation . However, paid participation fee
will be deducted as cancellation fee. If not sufficient, the
amount should be additionally paid and pay surplus amount will
be refunded.
- Cancellation within one month from exhibition opening date
(from August 2, 2004):
100% of participation as cancellation fee.
- Cancellation more than one month from exhibition opening
date (before August 1, 2004) :
50% of participation fee as cancellation
fee. |

The installation and removal of the exhibits and booth must
be completed by the date and time stipulated by Organizer. Exhibitors
shall indemnify the Organizer against any loss which may be
caused by delay or damage to the Exhibition Hall |
|
|
COORDINATION OF EXHIBIT WITH ORGANIZER |
|
Exhibition shall provide description of their exhibits before
the construction of the exhibit and ensure compliance with regulations
and restriction on booth design and activity.
Exhibitors shall also agree to provide the Organizer with nessary
information to faciliate the overall promotion of the Photonics
Korea 2004 |
|
|
INSURANCE, SECURITY AND SAFETY |
|
Exhibitors are require to subscribe to all risk an insurance
policy on all equipment and product during the Exhibition as
well as during set-up and take-down. The Organizer shall not
be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to any article
belonging to the Exhibitor.
Materialused instand and display construction must be property
fireproof in accordance with the local fire and safety regulations.
The Organizer shall reserve the right to limit any construction
or demonstrations that pose potential safety hazards. |
|
Exhibitors are bound to exhibit the announced products and to
man the stands with competent personnel during the operating
the hours of the Exhibition. Activities of the Exhibitor shall
be confined within limits of the Exhibitior's booth. The exhibit
will be consistent with the theme of the Exhibition and the
Organizer reserves the right to restrict exhibits which may
detract from the general character of the Exhibition. |

Exhibitors agrees that the sole purpose for contracting exhibit
space is to display and/or demonstrate equipment, supplies and/or
services. Cash sales within the confines of the exhibit space
are prohibited. |
It is mutually agreed that the Organizer shall not be liable
to the Exhibitor for any damage to and/or loss of the Exhibitor's
property, or for injuries to persons resulting from any cause.
All claims for any such loss, damage, or injury are expressly
waived by the Exhibitors |

|
BREACH OF CONTRACT AND WITHDRAWAL BY EXHIBITOR |
|
In the event that the Exhibitor refuses to use all or part of
the space allocated or the Exhibitor defaults on payment, the
Organizer shall have the right to terminate the contract forthwith.
In addition, the stand charges shall not br refunded. If the
Exhibitor withdraws from participation without the Organizer's
approval, the already paid money by Exhibitor shall not be refunded. |
|
The Organizer reserves the right to change the venue and duration
of the Exhibition if exceptional circumstances demand such changes.
In the event of a change of venue and/or date, or cancellation
of the Exhibition, the Exhibitor shall notbe entitled to any
claim for compensation in connection with the booking for participatiobn. |
|
When necessary, the Organizer shall have the right to issue
supplementary regulations in addition to those in the TERMS
AND CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITING. those regulations
and instructions shall be binding on the Exhibitors. The Exhibitor
shall observe the Exhibitor Rules and Regulations. |
|
Any dispute, difference or question arising hereafter between
the Organizer and the Exhibitor concerning the true construction
of these TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FOR EXHIBITING or the rights and liabilities
of the parties thereto shall be settled in accordance with the
Commercial Arbitration Board. The verdict of the above arbitration
shall be final and binding upon both. |
