Photonics 2010 is the concept of visional project for achieving a goal to be the best five in the world photonics market till 2010 under the slogan of ¡°Korea creating the light¡± Now the level of Korean photonics industry is the 10th grade in the world and is in the underdeveloped stage.
It is in the status of importer of photonics rather than active exporter due to the lack of industrial concept.
However, it prepares the leading position of photonics industry country through the development of business programs of the 1st stage(2000¡2003) and the 2nd stage(2004¡2010) based on the cultivation, integration, research and expansion of photonics industry, and its goals in the 1st stage are to make industrial integration, complex construction and seek the establishment of technical self-support foundation, lead to the growth of small and medium industries, enhance the position of photonics industry into the greatest world photonics complex in the Northeast Asia and be the best five of photonics industry in the world based on the independent technical development.

Service for Establishing Detailed Plans of Photonics Industry

Establishing long-term and short-term cultivation strategy and execution plan based on the close examination and analysis of the whole photonics industry(sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Resources)
